Lavender Peak is a peak in the La Plata Mountains, a small subrange of the San Juan Mountains, which in turn are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, United States. It lies 0.4 miles (0.6 km) southeast of the more well-known Hesperus Mountain. The mountain was named after Dwight Garrigues Lavender, the author of a climbing guide to the San Juan Mountains.[2]
